Briargate Neighborhood Descriptions

The Briargate subdivision which is located in the northern part of the Colorado Springs real estate area came into existence in 1977. The original Briargate area began as a 120-unit subdivision. Today it is a self-sufficient subdivision with exceptional schools, shopping, and numerous recreational activities. The entire Briargate real estate area is a huge master planned community. Woodmen Road, which borders the Briargate subdivision to the south, will take you to the Powers Corridor in approximately 10 minutes. The Powers Corridor is a main north/south corridor that runs on the east side of Colorado Springs where you'll also find more homes near Peterson AFB and Schriever AFB. The commute to Peterson AFB from Briargate is about 20 minutes.
