Close to Highway 115, Broadmoor Spires is an ideal location for traveling to downtown Colorado Springs. Highway 115 to the southwest takes you to the town of Canon City.

Buckskin Joe Frontier Town is located in the Royal Gorge region and has buildings from the mid to late 1800s. The Royal Gorge also has a scenic railway. Canon City has a vineyard and a winery in the town.

A short distance to the north is the Broadmoor Hotel and Resort. The Broadmoor has three golf courses and a lake. The Country Club of Colorado is also located to the north and has a golf course and a lake.
