The Fort Carson main gate is an approximate 12 minutes from the Subdivision, or 6.41 miles from this part of the Fort Carson real estate area. Cheyenne Mountain Air Force Base is an approximate 17 minute drive. This close proximity to the bases makes Stratton Meadows an option for your Colorado Springs military relocation. Catching I-25, which borders the Subdivision to the east, takes you to Pueblo going south, or Monument, Castle Rock, and Denver to the north.
Recreation
The Broadmoor Towne Center is located in the Stratton Meadows Subdivision. The shopping center has many recognized stores and eating places. Cheyenne Mountain is to the west of the subdivision and has many outdoor recreational opportunities including hiking and biking. Cheyenne Mountain has over 60 trails to explore. There are also four golf courses to the southwest of the Subdivision.
Lake Avenue (a.k.a. Circle Drive) also takes you to the eastern Colorado Springs real estate areas. There are many restaurants and shopping opportunities along Circle Drive as well.
