    The Falcon area is located to the east of Stetson Hills. Marksheffel Road is the east boundary to Stetson Hills. It takes you to Highway 24 in 5 minutes which connects you to Eastern El Paso County.

    Springs Ranch is south of Stetson Hills, offering golf opportunities and plenty of parks.

    The Powers Corridor has endless shopping, restaurants, and entertainment all within a 10 minute drive from Stetson Hills.

    Commuting

    Stetson Hills has easy access to Peterson Air Force Base and Schriever Air Force Base. Peterson Air Force Base is approximately 8 miles away or a 14 minute drive. The Colorado Springs Airport is located approximately 10 miles away, or a 15 minute drive. The Powers Corridor provides easy access north and south of Colorado Springs. Traveling to the north on Powers and then left on Highway 83 will take you to I-25. To the south on Powers will take you to Highway 24 which gives you east and west access to the El Paso County.

    Recreation

    There are four parks and many open space areas located in Stetson Hills.

    Stetson Park is located north of Stetson Elementary at 4870 Jedediah Smith Rd. It offers in-line skating and/or basketball court, a skateboard park area, a playground, a soccer field, a baseball field, and picnic tables. It's a great place to walk for exercise as there is a sidewalk loop which is .5 miles. The park sits on 6.9 acres. And it's wheelchair accessible.

    Sandstone Park is a larger park located at 4650 Pring Ranch Rd. It offers baseball, basketball, a playground, a playfield, restrooms, two tennis courts, sidewalk paths, and a volleyball court. The park is 11.6 acres.

    Templeton, Jack Park is located south of Stetson Hills Blvd. at 5347 Rose Ridge Lane. There is a basketball and/or in-line hockey court, grills for BBQ/picnics, a field, and a playground. The park is 3.5 acres.

    Open Space Areas include The High Chaparral open space which is located at Stetson Hills Blvd. and North Powers Boulevard or the street address of 5002 N. Powers Blvd. Trail parking is on south side of Stetson Hills Boulevard. The open space is 54.6 acres in area. There are various open spaces positioned throughout Stetson Hills. They include the area south of Bridlespur Avenue and north of Comstock Loop in Stetson Hills. Open spaces encompass 138.6 acres in Stetson Hills. There is a trail, 1.85 miles long from Austin Bluffs Parkway to Powers Boulevard that goes along the south side of Stetson Hills Blvd.
