    The established Park Hill Subdivision is located in central El Paso County, Colorado. This Southeast Colorado Springs real estate area was established in 1959-1997.     Memorial Park is an enormous City Park west of the Park Hill Subdivision and is the site of many City events. The annual Balloon Classic takes place in Memorial Park. The Park has a public ice skating arena, The Sertich Ice Center. The Velodrome, which is a biking and roller skating racing track is located in the Park along with an aquatics and fitness center, and the Prospect Lake and Bath House. There are large group picnic areas, a bicycle criterium, horseshoe courts, a multi-play court, three playgrounds, tennis courts, and a jogging trail.

    City Parks, across Academy Boulevard, to the east of the Park Hill real estate area include: Roosevelt Park, the Little Britches Playground, the Honeybear playground, the Mountainview Playground, the Munchkin Playground, the Happy Hollow Playground, and the Trues Mill Park.

    Bordering Academy Boulevard to the east, shopping is plentiful in the Park Hill Subdivision. A Home Depot, Walmart, and a Walgreens are located in the Subdivision. The Citadel Mall and Citadel Crossing Shopping Center are a 5-10 minute drive from the Subdivision. Additional shopping opportunities and restaurants are scattered along Academy Boulevard to the north and to the south. The Subdivision is an approximate 10 minutes from the Powers Corridor a main north/south access road through Colorado Springs.
