Every home was built with a particular architectural style. This style is used to dictate the details of the trim work both inside and outside of your Colorado Springs real estate. Craftsman homes became popular between 1890 and the 1920’s. This bungalow type Colorado Springs real estate is devoid of most of the architectural details that graced the Victorian home of the previous era. These homes are very simple both inside and out. They typically feature a deep but simple porch on the exterior. Inside you find a more open floor plan than previous styles and lots of built in cabinetry. Wainscoting was also popular. Even though the floor plan is more open these Colorado Springs real estate still manage to feel cozy with the use of columns as room dividers.
