The Manitou Springs Library movie program, Nickelodeon, will present movie classics from the 30’s, 40’s, 50’s, & 60’s on Wednesday evenings starting at 6:45PM. January will feature CLASSIC HITCHCOCK. The Master of Suspense, Director Alfred Hitchcock. This is to kick off the Librarys “new look”. The fourth Alfred Hitchcock feature film on January 27th, the 1959 film NORTH BY NORTHWEST starring Cary Grant & Eva Marie Saint.
Did you know that the Manitou Springs library has a free movie night every Wednesday?…and that includes popcorn too! This month they are featuring old school Alfred Hitchcock movies, and Wednesday is your last chance to catch this film series. Alfred Hitchcock, a British film maker, was the master at suspense movies. His career included just over six decades of movie making and many of the movies we see in the theaters today are inspired by his work. Thus making Hitchcock movies not only highly entertaining, but also a history lesson in themselves! The library is located in the Manitou Springs real estate area off Manitou Avenue, just west of the Pawnee Avenue intersection. The movie starts sharply at 6:45, and be sure to arrive early to catch a seat!
