Open seven days a week most of the year from 5:30 am to 11:00 pm, the World Arena Ice Hall offers various programs to the public, including public skating sessions, pick-up hockey, drop-in speedskating and Learn-to-Skate classes for all ages.
I can’t help buy notice the increasing number of advertisements for the Winter Olympics on television these days. Did you know that many of the country’s top skating athletes train right here in Colorado Springs at the World Arena Ice Hall? In fact, if you time your visit just right, you may be able to watch Olympic athletes practice their sports, be it figure skating, speed skating, or even hockey.
The World Arena Ice Hall is located in the Southwest Colorado Springs real estate area just off of I-25. They are open to the public most days and offer a wide variety of activities, as well as hosting the CC Tigers hockey team. In fact, this Friday, the Colorado College hockey team will be playing the University of Wisconsin Badgers. What a great opportunity to check out this valuable Colorado Springs facility while experiencing what is sure to be an exciting hockey game!
