Candle-light gardens

Garden Aglow : Landscaping : Home & Garden Television

There is something about candlelight in the garden that appeals to Kathy Wetherbee’s senses.
“I think its magical,” said Wetherbee, a lifelong gardener and feng shui consultant in Modesto, Calif. “It creates an environment.” And, Wetherbee added, the aura created by candlelight, “gives the garden a whole different look.”

Yesterday I wrote about installing fire pits in backyards. What I didn’t mention was that you can easily continue the theme into other areas of your landscape. And candles are a great way to achieve this.  A few lanterns with lit candles will go along way toward creating a beautiful, relaxing night time retreat in your backyard.  The best part is that candles are cheap, so adding this feature is practically painless.  A few bucks and twenty minutes of installation time and you’re done.  How great is that?

And an added bonus…..  Having well landscaped backyards will give Colorado Springs homes for sale a huge advantage over the competition.  When potential buyers walk through your house and check out your backyard oasis, they’ll immediately forget the competition.  And that is an effect worth the effort!
